Original wooden grape rack / carier

A unique French find, late 18th, early 19th century.
This grape carrying rack was picked up by 2 men and used to carry the picked grapes to the vineyards in France.

The wood has a beautiful pale, grayish color.
It can now function as a decorative object on your wall to hang plaids or towels over, for example.
